About Me

My photo
I've been into dollhouse miniatures since the early 1990's now and when I realized how much I've learned during that time, I thought I'd make a blog to share my knowledge with others. I'm mostly auto-deduct, but always found help on the Internet and in specific books. The mini-world starts and ends with your own imagination, so let there be no limit. And never say : I CAN'T .... because you can, you just need to try and have the necessary know-how. And that's the main reason why I started this blog, because I wanna share what I know with newbies in the miniature world or anybody else who might be interested in sharing what I've learned so far. So, hopefully, I'll be able to provide some useful hints, tips and tricks for those of you out there just starting with this wonderful hobby

My French Bakery : DIY Tearoom Chairs

OK .... I just couldn't seem to find chairs to fit my tearoom
I mean, there are so many out there, but either I didn't like them, or they didn't have the quantity I need or they were simply too expensive (you can imagine that I'll need a few for my tearoom)

So I decided to make my own .... I used thin leather here, made a seat with some fabric with a floral design and added some trimming and voilΓ  : a chair

Those of you who follow my blog may recognize it .... because I already used this model, only with a different fabric, in my Grosvenor Hall. I just like the style and this very light yellow leather fits perfectly in style and color with the interior. So I guess I'm up for making more, since (hopefully) I will have more than just one customer :-))) And I wanted to use as much DIY items as possible in this project, so chairs and tables will be "home-made"

See ya soon
