I've been trying for some time now to find a counter for my cakes, but none of them did fit.
In fact, the size of the one I bought was ok, but the cakes did not fit 😖😫
So I had to make one myself, one where all my cakes that I wanted to display in there would fit nicely. Here's a first glimpse, but so far, there's just the base coat, meaning it's not the color I have in mind for it when it's finished.

The picture above show another I made, especially for the shop window.
I found these self adhesive mirrors in a hobby shop not far from where I live here in Germany. They have a good size, are easy to cut and are self-adhesive
I thought it would be a nice touch to display these items on a mirror, since the customers will see this from the outside
Here another counter I made for the tearoom upstairs
Work in progress .... I used balsa wood for the counter itself, and some of that wooden trimming (you usually find that in a dollhouse shop under Mouldings or so)
I kept the sink from an old piece of furniture that I had to throw away some time ago .... very good that I did that, so I had one for my project here. I mean, I need a sink in the tearoom in order to wash a few plates and cups
I just love that coffee maker ..... just couldn't resist 💗💗💗💗
I added some faux glass to the counter, so that the customers on the other side have some privacy
